Tehran, 6 August 2019 - The Qatari Men's squash team claimed three medals during their participation in the 2019 edition of West Asian Championship concluded in Tehran, Iran on Sunday.
Qatar's Abdullah Al Tamimi claimed the title of singles event after beating Iran's Sajad Zareian 3-0 in the final match to be the first Qatari player to win this event.
Sayyed Amjad claimed the bronze medal of same event.
In teams' event, the Qatari men's team clinched the silver medal after reaching the final match following their victories over Iraq and Kuw.
