Kuwait, 20 January 2020 - Qatar will take on South Korea in the main round of the 2020 Asian Men's Handball Championship in Kuwait on Monday.
The Asian championship, which concludes on January 27, is also a qualifying meet for the World Championships that will take place in Egypt in 2021.
Qatar qualified to the main round after leading group B in the preliminary round. The group also included Japan and China.
The 8 teams which qualified to the main rounds were divided into two groups where Qatar will play in group B alongside Kuwait, Iran and South Korea while Group A includes Bahrain, Japan Saudi Arabia and UAE.
