Doha, 6 February 2020 - The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) in partnership with Msheireb Properties will be celebrating the 9th edition of National Sports Day (NSD) on Tuesday.
The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) has arranged a well-equipped Sport Village at Barahat Msheireb for the occasion , will open its gates earlier from 8 AM to 8 PM for all age groups to participate in multiple activities and competitions , including athletics, basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, table tennis, boxing, wrestling, taekwondo , karate and Judo. Also a number of team Qatar stars are due to honor the prestigious event.
The NSD's program will also include “ fun run race" will be organized amid participation from senior officials.
Sport workshops on gymnastics, marital Arts, along with sessions for female, freestyle football and entertainment games are also scheduled for the NSD's events.
A number of team Qatar champions, headed by the world and Olympic high jump champion, Mutaz Essa Barshim shall take part in the National Sports Day's events.
The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) is celebrating the National Sports Day under the theme of (Sport For Life) to promote sports, physical education and sustainable development across the country.
