Doha, 8 March 2020 - Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, officially opened Al Shaqab’s Equine Veterinary Medical Center on Saturday. The world-class equine healthcare and research facility is the first of its kind in the Middle East, offering specialised medical services as well as research programmes to promote veterinary sciences. During a tour of the Education City-based centre — a member of Qatar Foundation — to mark its opening, Sheikha Moza was given an insight into its services, technologies, and equine healthcare practices, while also meeting members of its team.
