Members of six clubs who underwent Coronavirus tests (Covid-19) enter team hotel

Doha, 16 June 2020 - Members of the Al Sadd, Al Gharafa, Al Khor, Al Rayyan, Qatar SC and Al Wakrah clubs, who underwent the Coronavirus (Covid-19) tests on Saturday, entered the team hotel at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel - Intercontinental Hotel, on Monday, 15th June, 2020, as part of the arrangements being made ahead of the resumption of 2019-20 QNB Stars League, according to the general plan and protocol developed by the Qatar Stars League and approved by the Ministry of Public Health.

It was also decided that the training of these teams will be held at the following pitches:

Khalifa International Stadium

Indoor stadium in Aspire

Training sites for Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup

Clubs’ training grounds

It may be noted that on completion of the tests, they returned to their homes under self-quarantine until the results came, taking into account the health and safety of everyone.

It was against this backdrop that members of the Al Duhail squad underwent the Coronavirus (Covid-19) tests on Monday morning at the Ali bin Hamad Al Attiyah Hall, in accordance with the precautionary measures and in co-operation with the Ministry of Public Health and Aspetar hospital.

Al Arabi players as well as technical and administrative staff will undergo the tests on Tuesday, 16th June, 2020, marking the end of first set of Coronavirus tests as per the protocol for QNB Stars League.
