 Covid-19 tests for referees

Doha, 24 June 2020 - The Coronavirus (Covid-19) medical tests of ahead of the the launch of the football activity in the QNB Stars League and Second Division matches kicked off with medical tests of referees, department employees and team bus drivers.

The tests of all the staff were carried out according to the established schedule released by Qatar Football Association (QFA).

The medical examination took place in the presence of Hani Ballan, member of the Executive Office of the Qatar Football Association, Director of the Referees Department, Khaled Al-Kuwari, Director of Marketing and Communication Department, and Ali Al Salat, Head of Communication Department.

Ali bin Hamad Al-Attiyah Arena hosted the medical examination held in halls 1 and 2 from nine to eleven in Tuesday morning, according to the general plan and protocol developed by the QFA and approved by the Ministry of Public Health.

These Covid-19 tests aim to ensure the health and safety of all in addition to reducing and controlling the risks of spreading the pandemic currently sweeping the world.

The next round of medical examination is scheduled to resume on Thursday which will involve the players, administrative and technical teams as well as volunteers of the Second Division clubs Al Kharaitiyat, Al Markhiya, Muaither, Meesameer and Al Shamal.
