Doha, 1 July 2020 - Saeed Al Sulaiti had to be content with second place in the sixth and final race, but his consistent performances ensured Qatar Motor and Motorcycling Federation (QMMF) Team won the fourth edition of the Qatar Online Racing Championship with a comprehensive victory over rivals Leopard Racing of Luxembourg.
In the final race at Losail International Circuit on Monday, Leopard Racing’s Dennis Foggia withstood some serious pressure from Al Sulaiti to finish in 28:58.851sec, just .571 sec ahead of the Qatari, who still finished on top of the individual leader-board. Soud Al Thani made sure of the third podium spot by pipping Lorenza Dalla Porta to the post.
QMMF finished with 617 points while Leopard tallied 573.
Earlier in the fifth race, Al Sulaiti and Al Thani had given another 1-2 finish for QMMF.
