Doha, 10 August 2020 – The works on the stadium that will host the opening game and final of the World Cup 2022 are continuing apace. The construction of the Lusail Stadium, where the opening game and final of the World Cup 2022 in Qatar will be held, is advancing day-by-day.
The Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, in charge of managing infrastructure projects for the 2022 World Cup, has shared new photos of the works site with its followers on social media, with work on the stadium showcasing completion of the giant iron roof that would later cover the stadium completely in accordance with the modern engineering designs that take into account the use of sustainable materials as well as the latest modern technology.
