Doha, 26 August 2020 - As part of preparations and arrangements being made ahead of the launch of 2020-21 season QNB Stars League, the Qatar Stars League (QSL) held a co-ordination meeting with club coaches at its headquarters in Al Bidda Tower, in accordance with the precautionary measures and general plan, in the presence of Mr. Ahmed Khellil Abbassi, Executive Director of Competitions and Football Development at the QSL, Mr. Neji Jouini, Executive Director of the Referees Department of Qatar Football Association, and its members Mr. Abdullah Al Balooshi as well as Mr. Khaled Saleh.
The attendees thanked the efforts made by all clubs during the 2019-20 league championship and for their commitment to the protocol that led to successful resumption of football activity and matches. The importance of such meetings was emphasized, in line with the continuous communication process and co-ordination with the aim of developing football and raising the technical standards of tournaments and players.
At the meeting, the general plan for the 2020-21 season’s league championship, which will start on 3rd September, was reviewed. Preparations being made by the clubs and the health protocol for the next stage were discussed in addition to the remarks by some coaches and attendees, which were taken into account, and queries were answered.
