Doha, 27 September 2020 - Qatar’s ace rally driver Nasser Saleh Al Attiyah’s car caught fire during the second round of the Spain Rally Championship 2020. Attiyah and his co-driver Mathieu Baumel of France were taken by surprise as there were flames inside the car after they came down a hill on Saturday.
Both Attiyah and Baumel got out of their vehicle and soon extinguished the flames. Later, Attiyah assured everyone of their safety by tweeting a message which said “I am fine”.
