Three Qataris make working committees of Asian Volleyball Confederation

Doha, 10 November 2020 - The Asian Volleyball Confederation added three Qatari members to the federation’s working committees, following the 43rd meeting of the confederation’s Board of Directors, which was held on Monday via video-conferencing in the presence of Ali bin Ghanem Al Kuwari, President of the Qatari and West Asian Federations, and Vice-President of Asian Volleyball Confederation.
Amont those chosen are: Qatar’s Ibrahim Mohamed Al Namah (as member of the AVC Referees Committee), Mohammad Salem Al Kuwari (as member of the Beach Volleyball Committee), and Khaled Mohamed Al Kaabi (as member of the Sports Events Committee).
During the meeting, chairedby AVC President Rita Subowo, many important issues related to the current situation of the volleyball game, the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on organising competitions, and how to prepare for the federation’s work in the coming period of the new council’s four-year term, were discussed.
