Doha, 3 May 2021 - The Qatar Stars League (QSL) held the Technical Meeting ahead of the Play-Off between Al Khor and Al Shahania to determine who will earn the right to play in the 2021-22 season QNB Stars League. The match will be played at the Qatar SC Stadium on Tuesday, 4th May, 2021. The kick-off is at 22:00.
The Play-Off pits the 11th-placed team in the QNB Stars League (Al Khor) against runners-up (Al Shahania) in the Second Division of 2020-21 season. The losers will play in the Second Division in the forthcoming season.
The meeting was held via visual communication technology, in the presence of Mr. Ahmed Salman Al Adsani, Director of Competitions Department at QSL, Mr. Abdullah Hassan, representative of Al Khor club, and Mr. Atef Munir, representative of Al Shahaniya club, in addition to Mr. Abdullah Al Balooshi, representative of the Referees Department of Qatar Football Association.
The following points were discussed:
- Everyone must adhere to the approved official procedures and medical protocol for Coronavirus (Covid-19), and follow organizational instructions on the match day.
- Importance of meeting deadlines to reach the stadium.
- Determining jersey colours for each team. Al Khor will play in blue and Al Shahania in red.
