Doha, 27 June 2021 - Qatar’s legendary athlete Abdalelah Haroun died in a car crash on Saturday. 24-year-old Aaron won the bronze medal in the 400 meters event of the World Championship in the year 2017. World Athletics confirmed this on Saturday citing media reports.
The 24-year-old former world junior champion was trying to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics this year. In the year 2019 at the World Championships in Doha, he suffered an injury, due to which he could not progress beyond the heats. Since Corona, he was trying to make a comeback so that he could qualify for the Tokyo Olympics.
