Doha, 8 September 2021- Saud bin Abdulaziz Al-Mohannadi, Vice-President of Qatar Football Association (QFA), has received in his office Colonel Zakaria Kanat, Vice-President of the Syrian Football Association (SFA).

The visit comes after the QFA hosted a camp to help the Syrian national team prepare for their participation in the final qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, which lasted from August 21 to 29.

During the meeting, the officials discussed issues of common interest and ways to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood between the two brotherly federations.

The visiting delegation appreciated QFA’s role in developing football in the region and the Asian continent.

He also thanked QFA President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani and Mr. Al Muhannadi for the reception on Tuesday.
