Ahmed Al Kuwari along with his co-driver Nasser Al Kuwari clocked the fastest time of 1:59:19 secs in Yamaha YXZ 1000R.
Abdulla Al Khelaifi and his navigator Abdulaziz Al Jabri were second in Yamaha YXZ 1000R in a time of 2:02:43 secs, with Mohammed Ameer and Pedro Santos finishing third with Canam in 2:02:43 secs.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s Mishal Al Ghuneim (KTM 450) won the Moto 450cc category. Abdulhalim Al Mogeera (KTM) finished second ahead of Sultan Al Balooshi (Husqvarna).
In the over 450 cc category, Qatar’s Sheikh Mohammed Al Thani emerged fastest. South African rider was Jaco Anderson second, followed by Abdulrahman Al Sheeb. Belgian Emiel Stuckens finished on top in the quad category.
The championship consisting of six rounds with the opening round held at Sealine on October 15.
Two rounds each are scheduled for November and December, with the season finale to be staged on December 10 and 11. The sixth and final round will offer double points to the participants.
