Qatari Swimmers Wins 3 Medals at Arab Aquatics Championships Local

Cairo, 10 September 2022 - The Qatari swimming team won 3 medals (gold and two bronze) on the second day of the competitions of the first Arab Championship for Water Games in Egypt.
Omar Hassan won the gold medal in the 400-meter medley for the 16-18 years category, while Hamza Mahmoud won the bronze medal for the same race for the 14-15 years category, and Abdullah Al Ghamry won the bronze medal in the 50-meter backstroke for the 14-15 years category as well.
The total number of Qatari medals has so far risen to 8 (1 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze).
The Qatari national swimming team is represented by 17 swimmers: Omar Hassan, Youssef Hassan, Tamim Mohammed, Abdullah Al Khalidi, Abdullah Al Ghamry, Saif Al Borshid, Ahmed Saeed, Mohammed Al Jilani, Hamza Mahmoud, Ziad Abdullah, Marwan Hassan, Ali Al Nuaimi, Rashid Al Rumaihi, Saad Al Sulaiti, Abdullah Al Hamayda, Ibrahim Hilal and Abdullah Al Badr, in addition to the head of the delegation, Ibrahim Al Rumaihi, the administrator, Nasser Al Saqiri, and the trainers, Omar Khadash, and Shukri Al Qafsi.
