Doha, 11 November 2022 - Ambassador of the United States of America Timmy Davis praised the experience of Qatar in preparing to host the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022; noting that his country looks forward to learning from Qatar's experience in its preparations to co-host the 2026 World Cup with Canada and Mexico.

In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the US ambassador said: "On behalf of the US Embassy in Qatar, I share our best wishes for Qatar, the Qatari people, and all who are supporting tournament preparations to welcome millions of fans and the world’s top soccer players for some of the greatest sports competition on earth."
