Doha, 11 March 2023 - Brazilian soccer star and Paris Saint-Germain player Neymar da Silva Santos Jr. arrived in Doha and underwent successful surgery at Aspetar, the world's leading orthopaedic and sports medicine hospital this afternoon.
The operation at Aspetar was supervised by a highly-qualified team of surgeons, including Professor Peter D’hooghe, Aspetar CMO, renowned ankle surgeon Pierre James Calder from Fortius Clinic London, and Brazilian surgeon and national team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar.
The ankle surgery went well, with the surgery successful, which will spare the player the risk of suffering from a recurrence of the injury, and the player will currently undergo a period of rest and recovery from the operation.
It is worth mentioning that Aspetar is the official medical partner of the Paris Saint-Germain team.
