Doha, 19 April 2023 - The Qatar Athletics Association announced the list of Qatari athletes who will compete in the Doha Diamond League round, the first of the fourteen rounds of the Diamond League for the 2023 sports season.
The list of participating athletes included the Olympic and world champion in the high jump, Mutaz Essa Barshim, Musaab Abdul Rahman Ballah, Abdul Rahman Saeed in the 800m race, and Musaab Adam in the 3,000m race.
The Qatar Athletics Federation stated in its official account on the social networking site / Twitter / that the quartet Barshim, Musab Bella, Abdul Rahman Saeed and Musab Adam will take on the challenge of the round that will be held at the field and track of Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium in Qatar Club on the fifth of next May, with aspirations to achieve achievements and continue the successes of Qatari athletics at all international and global levels for the current sports season, which is witnessing the Asian Athletics Championships in Bangkok next July, the World Championships in Hungary next August, and the Asian Games at the end of the year 2023 in China.
