Aubagne/France), 10 June 2023 - Qatar U-23 football team lost 0-4 to Mexico in Group B competitions of the Toulon Friendly Championship with participation of 12 teams, until 18th June.
The Mexican under-23 team raised its balance to 6 points at the top of the group, ahead of the second-placed Australian team with 4 points, while the Qatari teams balance was frozen at 2 points in third place.
The participation of the Qatar U-23 football team in the tournament comes within preparations for the sixth edition of the AFC U-23 Championship, which will be held in Doha early next year and qualifies for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
