Algiers, 8 July 2023 - Team Qatar participating in the Pan Arab Sports Games 2023 in Algeria raised their medals tally to eight colored medals, four golds, two silvers and two bronzes.
Team Qatar's Bassem Hamida, won the gold medal in the 400m hurdles race timing 49.14 seconds, and his teammate Ahmed Al Saifi, won the silver medal in the hammer throw with a 69.61 meters throw.
Around 3,500 athletes from 22 countries are participating in the Pan Arab Games, competing in 20 sports disciplines.
