Algeria, 13 July 2023 - Qatar handball team produced a solid performance to secure a narrow 24-23 victory over Iraqi counterparts and advanced to the final game of the Men’s handball event at the Arab Games, which is running from 5th to 15th July in Algeria.
Team Qatar is looking to step up the highest spot of the podium when they shake hands with Saudi Arabia in the men’s handball final to be held in Oran on Friday.
Most notably, 115 Qatari athletes are competing in 16 sport disciplines, handball, volleyball, basketball, swimming, Triathlon (cycling only), athletics, gymnastics, chess, fencing, sailing, boxing, (goal ball and para-athletics), Karate, judo and badminton.
