Doha, 7 September 2023 - Qatar advanced to the 17th spot in the most recent FIVB Men's Volleyball World Ranking.
This remarkable progress comes after Qatar's distinguished results recently, most notably their third place finish in the 22nd Asian Championship in Iran.
Poland topped the ranking and the US came second while Italy were ranked third.
Qatar are now preparing for the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, from Sep. 23 to Oct. 8. They will compete in Group B alongside Thailand and Hong Kong.
