Dubai, 2 October 2023 - The Qatari padel team achieved the bronze medal in the 1st Arab Padel Championship hosted by Dubai.
The 1st Arab Padel Championship was held for five days and included eleven teams.
The Qatari team won the medal after defeating the United Arab Emirates (UAE) 2-1.
In the first set, Mohammed Abdullah and Mohammed Al Khanji lost to the UAE with a score of 3-6, 6-4 and 4-6, while Mohammed Al Kuwari and Abdullah Al Hajji managed to win in the second set scoring 6-3 and 6-1.
Abdulaziz Al Kuwari and Jaber Al Mutawa sealed the win for the Qatari team after scoring 6-3 and 6-1 in the third set.
Egypt was crowned the winner of the 1st Arab Padel Championship after beating Kuwait 2-0 in the final match.
