Doha, 3 October 2023 - Qatar Sports for All Federation (QSFA) has launched the fifth edition of the 2023 Ministries and Authorities Futsal Championship, which will start on Oct. 8 at the Lusail Sports Hall.
10 ministries and agencies will participate.in the championship: the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Municipality, Ashghal, Al Kass Channel, the Qatar Media Corporation, and Hamad Corporation.
QSFA Director of Events and Activities Abdullah Al Dosari affirmed that this championship is returning again after it was stopped for various reasons, pointing out that QSFA seeks to provide the opportunity for all members of society to practice sport activities.
QSFA is keen to organize a large number of activities and tournaments of interest, such as football, beach volleyball, padel, archery, equestrian, swimming, chess, cycling and walking, marathon races, school activities, and teaching skills, the basics of football, self-defense and gymnastics, in addition to daily sports activities for men and women in public parks as part of the 365 Days of Activity program in an effort to spread the culture of practicing sports on a wider scale in society.
