Doha, 26 October 2023 - The committee organizing the World Aquatics Championships (Doha 2024) rolled out the tickets of the championship ahead of 100 days remaining for the launch of this event.
For the first time in the Middle East, the championship will be held during Feb. 2-18, 2024, during which Qatar is slated to receive over 2500 athletes from both genders hailing from over 190 nations, along with senior international sports officials and fans from around the world to enjoy one of the most important championships within the agenda of the global aquatic tournaments.
In addition, World Aquatics and the organizing committee announced that they have included 75 contests in the colored medals of 6 water sports, chiefly: swimming, diving, water polo, artistic swimming, open water swimming and high diving.

Tickets are available in three categories: first category, second category and multiplayer competition tickets.
The prices of the first category start with QR35 and scale up until QR200. The latter price offers premium seats inside the tournament facilities, while prices of the second category start with QR20, with the multiplayer competitions tickets starting with QR200, and are dedicated to spectators who wish to attend multiple competitions for one game, per day.
The inauguration ceremony will be held on Feb. 4 at Aspire Dome, following the first days of the championship that will be held at 3 sites in Doha: Aspire Dome, Doha Port and Hamad Aquatic Centre.
The first day will concurrently feature swimming and diving at Aspire Dome and Hamad Aquatic Centre.
Director of Marketing and Communications, Opening and Closing Ceremonies Committee at the World Aquatics Championships Doha 2024 Sheikha Asma bint Thani Al-Thani said with 100 days remaining for the launch of the event, the occasion is celebrated through inviting all community segments in Qatar and worldwide to join this historical championship which is organized for the first time in the Middle East.
Qatar has gained a successful legacy in hosting numerous major sporting events and is ready once again to welcome athletes and fans in Doha to present indelible experience for them inside and outside the fields of the championship, she added.
