Doha, 30 October 2023 - Commercial Bank, the Title Sponsor of the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters tournament, marked the end of the 26th edition of the tournament with Doha Golf Club (DGC).
The Commercial Bank Qatar Masters is an annual golf tournament on the DP World Tour Calendar, where many of the world’s top golfers compete.
Following a remarkable tournament, Commercial Bank’s Board Member Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Attiyah and Commercial Bank’s Group CEO Joseph Abraham presented the Mother of Pearl trophy to the winner of this year’s tournament, Sami Valimaki.
The victorious player was also awarded with a financial award of $637,500.
Commercial Bank has been the title sponsor for this tournament for 18 years and has managed to make every edition a huge success.
The tournament has not only given visitors a chance to experience a world-class golfing event but also offered a range of hospitality services.
The Bank’s Majlis was designed to give premium customers an opportunity to connect and discuss the unique business opportunities and wealth management services presented by Commercial Bank in Qatar.

As a preview of the tournament, Commercial Bank brought the golf course to customers prior to the Masters tournament through an AI Golf Simulator.
The simulator was placed at malls across Qatar and gave customers an opportunity to experience the thrill of the game.
