Doha, 31 October 2023- Qatari striker Al Moez Ali expressed his delight at being among the top three players in Asia.
He is competing with Salem Al Dossari and Mathew Leckie for the honor.
"Of course, it is such a beautiful feeling to be among the top three players on the Continent," he said in a press conference reported on by AFC's official website.
"As a player, I have a great ambition, be it with my club or national team, to show what I can do. Football is a team game and you have to play as a team in order to distinguish yourself.
He also said that it was a childhood dreams to be among the top Asian players.
When asked to single out his most memorable moment from a stunning 2022/23 campaign he enjoyed, Ali said that it was sweeping all four domestic titles.
