Doha, 2 November 2023 - Al Arabi coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League Week 8 match against Al Gharafa.
“A difficult game awaits us against Al Gharafa. They have been enjoying a strong winning run over the past period and have been distinguished in their performances. They also have a group of players capable of making a difference and this would require us to deal with the match with greater focus.
“We will not let our recent loss affect us. We will enter the match with confidence and a high morale, knowing that we have the ability to achieve victory. We are aware of the phase the team is going through and we aim to overcome it.
“I know that our fans expect the best from us and I am confident in our ability to provide that. We need the fans’ support and encouragement at this crucial time and we will fight to win and achieve the desired result,” said Younes.
Al Arabi player Wassim Keddari said, “We must prepare well for this clash in order to achieve victory and overcome our recent loss.
“We realize the importance of the Al Gharafa match which is a tough one. I know that it will be a real test for us. We will enter the field with full focus and determination to achieve the desired result.
