Doha, 5 December 2023 - H.E. President of the Qatar Olympic Committee and the Local Organizing Committee of the World Aquatics Championships - Doha 2024 Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani visited Aspire Zone to oversee the final preparations for the event to be held from February 02-18, 2024 .
H.E. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani was accompanied by H.E. Minister of Sports and Youth Salah bin Ghanim Al-Ali, the Public Works Authority President H.E. Dr. Eng. Saad bin Ahmed Al Muhannadi, Aspire Zone Foundation CEO Mr. Mohammed Khalifa Al Suwaidi and The QOC Secretary General H.E. Jassim bin Rashid Al Buenain .
