Doha, 22 December 21 (QNA) - HE Minister of Sports and Youth Salah bin Ghanim Al Ali has honored winners of the main race of the Qatar Derby in the first category for purebred horses.
The race was held on the grass track at the Racing and Equestrian Club, with financial prizes exceeding $1,300,000, including $500,000 for the 10th major race.
The tenth main round for the 2000m Qatar Derby title for three-year purebred hybrid horses (first category) saw a fourth victory for the horse Jeff Koons, trained by Hamad Al Jehani and owned by Wathnan Racing.
