Doha, 24 December 2023 - Qatar Football Association (QFA)'s Development Department wrapped up Sunday the first festival for private football academies.
The event that took place on the Al Gharafa Club venues brought together six academies in three age categories (2012 - 2014 - 2016).
Director of the Development Department Fahd Thani Al Zaraa said he was happy with the event that helps discover prodigies that feed Qatari clubs and national teams of all age categories.
This event will be scrutinized, and the clubs-related academies might be invited to participate in its future editions, Al Zaraa added.
He highly rated the efforts made by the organizers, including trainers, technicians and administrators, hailing the support provided by families to their children during the event.
