Doha, 31 December 2023 - Mohammed Khalifa Albaker won today 1st place in the Big Tour at the conclusion of the 8th Tour of Qatar Equestrian Tour - Longines Hathab in its seventh edition, organized and hosted jointly by Qatar Equestrian Federation and Modern Pentathlon (QEF) and Al Shaqab, member of Qatar Foundation.
Riding Lissabon 56, Albaker claimed 1st place in the 145/150cm class flawlessly, with a time of 66.4 seconds. Khalid Mohamed El Emadi came in 2nd on chiquita at 64.09 seconds, while Rashid Towaim Al Marri came in 3rd place scoring a time of 67.12 seconds on Navaronne.
In the Amateur Riders' category, rider Abdulhadi Salah Alyafei won 1st place at 28.04 seconds riding Caballero, Hadi Nasser Al Shahwani secured the second position at 29.40 seconds on Beyonce, while Saoud Ahmed Al Boinin riding Diademe De B'Neville finished 3rd at 29.51 seconds.
The open class saw heated competitions, with Sheikh Khalifa Al-Thani winning 1st place riding Emiro, while Cyrine Cherif came in 1st place on Triple T, with Nasser Al Ghazali finishing 3rd, on Dexter.
