The Maroons earned full credit for their recent 1-0 group A match victory over China, which took place this evening at Khalifa International Stadium.
“The challenging stage of the group stage has ended, and the most difficult stages remain in the knockout rounds. We must maintain our current form after we were the first to qualify for the round of 16 in the campaign to defend the title.” His Excellency stated.
The President of the Qatar Football Association expressed his happiness with Al-Annabi’s tenth consecutive Asian Cup victory. Now, the team is focused on their next round of 16 match.
